ICP Community Eye Clinics have now returned to their birth place in The Old Cottage Hospital Surgery, Epsom.
Mr Dilo De Alwis, who was the Lead Clinician in charge of Mayday Hospital in Croydon is the lead Clinician. He is the internationally known glaucoma specialist.
The dynamic team includes Miss Charlotte Funnell, Consultant Ophthalmologist at Epsom General Hospital and Paediatric and Neuro-ophthalmology specialist, Mr Saj Khan, who was the Consultant Ophthalmologist at New Victoria and London Eye Hospital and Mr Christopher Benjamin, Associate Specialist at Kingston Hospital along with Dr Subo Emanuel, GPSI Ophthalmology and Mrs Ann Fraser, Head Orthoptist at Kingston Hospital. Also Miss Suan Cheung, who was the Sister in charge of Sutton Eye Hospital. New practitioners at the clinics are Miss Erica Fox, Optometrist from Leightons Opticians in Epsom, and Miss Sara White, Optometrist at White/Houghton Opticians, Ewell.
The ICP clinics offer a comprehensive service including – Paediatrics, Glaucomas, Dry AMD, Motility problems and watery eyes, although Glaucomas form the bulk of the workload of the clinics. We have recently purchased a state of the art OCT machine.
